  • World class beer only. This place is incredible. Was lucky enough to stop by on my way to Iowa City, and King Sue bombers were for sale. Has the "Chainsmoker" when I stopped, a very unique smoked port...  more »

  • Had the pleasure of meeting Clark and Barb at the Badger State Brewery in Green Bay, Wisconsin. They were generous enough to hand me a bomber of King Sue! It was one of the best Imperial IPA's I have had. Keep up the great work and I'm looking forward to the day I can get Toppling Goliath out in Pennsylvania!
  • Beer was all pretty good. Nothing that knocked your socks off and nothing stopping me from finishing the taster flight. Definitely good for the area. The darker porters and stout textured kind of thin like water and not the full mouthy milky texture and consistency I prefer in stouts and porters.
  • Nice beer garden where the hops are growing above the pergola. No table service and they don't serve food. You can bring your own food in or order from Mabes or any other place that delivers. They sell stickers and t-shirts
  • Small taproom so getting there early is important as they get busy on the weekends.
  • My fiancee and I traveled from Michigan to the Quad Cities to visit some friends and figured it's only another 3 hours in the car to make it to Decorah. We had high expectations and TG did not disappoint! Every beer we sampled was amazing. However, we were really hoping to land some King Sue. Unfortunately, they had just sold out a couple days prior to our arrival. Our server, Jordyn actually went home after her shift and brought us two bottles from her own fridge at home! We are customers for life! Everyone there was great!
