  • Each visit to your Dekalb Farmers Market is 'magical'.. From all the 'beautiful ones' who bake our pastries, ones waiting to strip the pineapples, ones who juice our sugar cane and pineapples (& all other wonderful combos of juices), ones who continually place the foods before us, ones serving the fresh baked pastries and, finally, ones who carefully bag our final selections.. ALL MAGICAL! Adding 'icing to the cake' are US, the customers, who watch, visit with, teach one another and intermingle with the staff.. ALL MAGICAL! We Thank You and Are Grateful for YOU, the Beautiful Ones, composing Dekalb Farmers Market 💋😘 ❤️
  • The hardest part about moving away from Atlanta was leaving this wonderful Farmers Market behind. If I could transport this farmers market to Orlando by life would be close to perfect! As a chef one of the great loves of my life is walking into a fabulous market and being able to find outstanding product at every turn so that I could go home and cook whatever I want to on a day off and so I really enjoy myself. First let me say that the produce section is excellent and if there is something that you cannot find talk to the produce manager and ask them to order it for you. There are customers from all over the world who are looking for very specific items some of them are not easy to find but the staff here does a wonderful job of finding them. The meat Seafood area is excellent with staff ready to custom cut anything for you. What bird I was shopping for a dinner party and my plans for dessert had fallen through so I picked up a pre-made red velvet cake that was excellent. The bonus was that it only cost $16 and was more than sufficient for 10 large servings. Treat yourself by having lunch at the market when you come by. After lunch Wander over to the pastry counter for a freshly made pastry and a hot cup of coffee. The only thing that I think the market could really improve on is the coffee. I would suggest a Coffee and Tea Bar where they really showcase the products. And I would also get rid of those hot air pots they do not do the coffee any justice.
  • Grew up with this place...love it. It is a special treat to visit when in town. This is hands-down, one of the best destinations for fresh fruits, veggies and bread that I have ever found. They have great prices and offer discounted bread products after a few days. My favorite thing about it is the flags. They have flags from every country in the world hanging from the rafters. Rumor has it that quite a few years ago, there was actually some protest about some specific flags, but the farmers' market fought and kept them up. Highly recommended. It is well worth your trip.
  • Unique store with just about any food item you could want. Choose from fresh fish swimming in a tank to imported spices and foods around the world. Great produce selection. Prices are very good. There is a cafe, so you can easily spend the afternoon. Worth going!
  • Love. Love. Love. This market!!! We travel 2 hours every week to get healthy food for our family. They offer SO many fresh, non-packaged, in-season, and local/world foods. Veggies, fruits, spices, grains, fresh breads, coffee, juices, meats, deli, baked goods, even flowers are just some of the items you can find here. A couple caveats: it is super cold, so dress warm. And depending when you go, it can be very crowded. However, they do an awesome job keeping items fresh and lines short. Great place with a TON of great options. It is actually a pretty cool experience to go.
