Your DeKalb Farmers Market Reviews
I shop at the Dekalb Farmers Market weekly. We plan out our meals, make a shopping list, and can find almost everything on that list easily and cheaply at the DFM. Remember to bring cash, check, or a ... more »
We had moved out of the area and haven't been here for over 25 years and nothing has changed. If you want fresh seafood, meat of all kinds, vegetables, breads, spices and everything in between the De!... more »
A friend and I were looking for spices so that we could try a new receipe. Upon entering the market an associate greeted us with a smile. She then proceeded to assist us the product. I like visiting t... more »
All the produce is very fresh. They have fruits and vegetables from different parts of the world. They also have a good section for meat and poultry. They have a separate section for sea food and their staff is also available to clean the fish. They also stock a good variety of cheeses. They also have a good collection of wines. I love visiting this market. The only thing to keep in mind is they don't accept credit cards, but they accept debit cards and cash.
Great market! The fruit and meats selections are fresher than our local supermarket, which makes it worth the few cents more per pound. I love the spices and flowers as well. My daughter and I enjoy having our lunch here, however, our stay is usually short because of the cold. I understand it must be cold for the food's sake, but four stars because I have to do all this great shopping for culturally diverse goodies in a refrigerator. BRING A JACKET!
Amazing farmer market experience! Food and flags from all over the world. Not always the best deals for food but great quality and large variety. They have a cafeteria and bakery to eat while you are there. Large fresh seafood area. Whatever you may be looking for they are 99% likely to have it. Well worth a visit even if you didn't buy anything!
One of my favorite grocery stores. Plethora of food and spices from around the world. The staff is friendly and the produce is 100% top notch here. Avoid going here during busy hours after work and after 11am on weekends. Parking is ample but bring cash or a debit card. NO credit cards accepted here! (They have an ATM on site)
Diverse selection of just about any thing you could hope for in a grocer. The lower rating is for the prepared foods as of late the foods do not taste as fresh, and not as enjoyable. And at times (most of the time) the workers are rude, so alone with all the busy people shopping, they pull out carts and pallets in front of you and do not really assist you. But overall the shopping is worth it if you are in the area. Prices are competitive and alternative , diverse, special diets needs can be met. Desserts are fun to but do come with cash because no debit cards at the bakery. And fee for cards used at prepared food cafe. One of the better grocers for product.
