  • Best Farmers market on the planet!! I come here and stock up when I'm in Georgia visiting friends. Everything from their wine selection to their meats is excellent. They are a one stop shop. You can't beat their prices, you will be shocked how much you spend there vs how much it would cost you in a grocery store. Definitely worth checking out, best times to go are later in the evenings when it's not so packed. Last I was told they get their deliveries in on Sundays. So early week is the best time to go.
  • Love it here. Fresh food, tons of options. And a great wine selection. There is a smell because of all of the different foods. It's also cold in there so bring sweater. And not many people speak english. However, I love this place because they give you a variety of good quality food and products
  • Best produce shopping around. They have everything. Meat and seafood selection is awesome. Bulk spices for dirt cheap. Large & varied assortment of dry & canned goods as well. Great pricing on pretty much everything. The food in the Cafe is off the meter too so stop for a bite to eat or get something to go.
  • Amazing selection. The produce variety and quality are outstanding. Their meats are of a good quality. And unlike the Buford Highway Farmer's Market, they've figure out how to deal with many customers at the same time for check-out. Just be aware that they're a cash/debit card only store. There's an ATM on-site, but it's nice to be prepared going in.
  • I love the DeKalb Farmer's Market! It's one of the best places to get fresh produce, meats, fish, seafood, cooked foods, baked goods, grains, beverages, "you-name-it" and other international foods of a staggering variety. If you can't find a food or ingredient anywhere else then DeKalb Farmer's Market should usually have it. It's one of the few farmer's markets in the metro-area (if not the only) that doesn't smell like rotting food nor is a fly haven. I think that is because the whole place feels like a giant freezer even in mid-July. Tip: Always bring a jacket/coat with you. One of the few cons about it is that it is usually crowded almost constantly from opening to closing any day of week. It could get a bit annoying trying to maneuver through all those carts and people. On weekends, it feels like walking down a NYC sidewalk during rush hour with everyone just squeezing past each other. Better (less crowded) times are right around opening (9 am)or near closing time (9pm). Another con is that they don't accept credit cards, so you must have cash or debit cards. Tip: There's an ATM inside. Another con is that the bathrooms are constantly dirty which I've only heard since I've been to scared to use them. If you want to see some ethnic diversity, then come to this farmer's market. It's refreshing to see the great representation of world's nations here in food and in people.
