  • Very nice park it's usually not busy, there's a playground with no swings which is good for my swing loving kids who like to go to lavish parks.. for me to push them on the swing the whole time. There's a volley ball net and 2 large pavilions as well as many smaller bench's, picnic tables, and rest areas. Relatively well kept bathrooms and a soda machine 😊 I think you may be able to hike/bike ?? And camp. Alot of up close water access as well as a boat ramp into the st John's river , you can fish, boat, camp, play, cookout, or just take a walk on the floating dock that stretches from one boat ramp to the other there's also a great permanent dock with wheelchair accessibility. The park is pet friendly just make sure you clean up after your animals and keep them on a leash. There's a good amount of tress for shade in certain areas and my girls love the giant alligator statue they can climb on that rests next to the water . Again.. very pleased with this park
  • Great STOP , My husband & I went ridding his Harley Davidson, we stopped to look around & do some walking around, before we headed home. I caught out of the corner of my eyes was a flock of Turkey's going to roost. Sun was going down, still alot of trails & fresh deer watching us. The color of the day mixing with the coming of night fall was like a painted Master peace. We have already planned our next outing will B a picnic, at the park bench, & let's us enjoy the beautiful surroundings, or we can go to the restaurants..
  • Small park with great promise. Large sites amid old oaks and palms. Water and electricity at each site, dump station near the exit. Tents to full size RV's welcome. Paved trail, boat ramp. Near Interstate I4, but relatively quiet. Budget price.
  • Great place. But it's run downtown by some people that are very small minded. The place could be way better. It has a future if the people in charge don't kill it first. Poor management. The people working the camp grounds are great. Do not get them confused with the administration staff.
  • Clean and well maintained park for picnics, boat ramps with easy access and a long dock to tie up to. Also have a couple other floating dock that are nice to fish from. The campground is small but wooded.
