  • Lovely slice of Old Florida. Nice campground, clean private bathrooms, boat ramp,. BUT..... Noisey, like camping under I-4 in downtown Orlando! I-4 non stop traffic noise, Sun Rail going over St. John's bridge with whistle, FL Power Plant always humming away and the super loud speaker "this is only a test of the emergency broadcast system", scared the hell out of us, like something out of silent Hill. And last but not least, directly in the flight path of Sanford airport. Noisest campground I have ever been to! Once upon a Time it was quite, but everything around it grew up!
  • Perfect place to watch the day go by or take the kids and pets out for some fresh air. Ramps for the boaters. No feeding the gators!
  • A very nice park. They have overnight RV parking, very nice public bathrooms, covered seating areas, a boat ramp, a nice playground for kids, and a very cute giant alligator statue. This park is definitely a good place to take the family.
  • Nice camp. Trains & Highway noise but still good. Hike/Bike nearby.
  • We came into the park to access the Gemini Springs Bike trail, you can access the dirt parking lot by going past the boat ramps. But there may be a better way by going down to Old Deland road. The restrooms at the bike trail head were closed and out of order. The camping area was also closed. Its a VERY busy boat ramp on a Sunday late morning. Looks like you are supposed to pay to launch a boat but I didn't see anyone at the entrance station.
