  • Take a few minutes to ses a bit of history along the main road toward Stovepipe Village. Not crowded, good place to take a break from the crowds. 
  • When you consider that borax with a "mule train" of 20 mules from Death Valley was carted for a few years. The visitors of the former harmony can easily imagine borax mining plant, what was called that, to work in this heat. A rewarding visit with the background of American (industrial) history.
