  • Probably the best hike in Death Valley. It is all up hill for the hole way in. They say a mile, but it is a mile to the trail split, then another half mile to the top.
  • Almost that dish so no big problem for this hike, set apart the heat. For our part there a fresh wind that day of our mid-September visit (I know, it must be rare!) so the market was easy and enjoyable even if the water was essential. We ran into quite a few unwary on this walk, between the girl come alone without water that we had to help out, and the young couple of tourists in flip-flops (?) who eventually turn back visiting account that he had to walk more than they thought (good at the same time there was a sign of info at the entrance, as always at the beginning of hiking). Beware, this hike, as easy and pleasant as is, has a difficulty and not least, she is very badly signposted, so many times we turned around with other groups of tourists. We are there took to 4times to finally find the right final view point! (a couple of french had also dropped the case before).
