11 years ago my husband and elder children played the back nine and a coyote stole my daughters golf ball. This time we played all 18 holes and it was great fun, the coyotes watched but didn't interfe... read more »

Entrance welcoming with a well-stocked general store to buy anything and several saloons to eat typical American and local (decent food). There is a beautiful golf course and a beautiful swimming pool open until 11 in the evening to relax and refresh. Just outside one gas station within 40 miles. Downside the rooms a little dated and the smell of the carpet is indecent.show original
The golf course snack bar is open air with a view of the 18th hole. Pretty good chicken sandwich and other items available. Odd, but charming, oasis in the middle of the dessert. Course looked to be i... read more »
I played at the course nearly a year ago. I thought it played well. The fairways were in good shape and the rough was capable of catching your ball and being a punishment if you continued to hit into it enough 😅 I don't remember disliking the greens, so I think they were rolling well. I had a birdie on each nine and shot a 89. Some wildlife. The only place to view the desert from grass. Or be below the rest of the world at -127. I can't remember what I payed but it was a fair price compared to the rest of California and or death valley prices. Drive that beautiful desert road and have fun, i know I did!
Fun course buts greens fees are unreasonable.
Really nice visitor center.
When I was a child my dad was a park ranger here. No place like that place near that place.
Carlos BeneditoA ranch very cool in the middle of the desert! The worst heat which in summer is unbearableshow original
