  • We paid $200 for 4 hours, to me that was cheap! We had a great time, 2 adults and a 14 year old rode together and it was so much fun! The owners are great! Be prepared for an adventure! The scenery wa...  more »

  • This is the second time we have used Mad Mountain for ATV's. The riding in that area is very fun and is a good blend of trails. Peak season can get busy so make reservations if possible.  more »

  • We rented four singles and had a blast. The owners are wonderful and made renting easy. They provided a map and explained the route well. We wished that we had taken the goggles--the lead driver was ok but the rest ate dust. The girls who wore shorts wished that they had worn pants-- their right legs got hot from the heat of the engines. We all had a great time and plan to go 4 wheeling in the hills again.
  • This place sucks. Worst customer service ever. My brother in laws side be side wouldn't start 38 miles into our trip. No problem we know these things break down. Called the owner and he told us he couldn't help because we went too far away. Never offered to come get him or his too small kids (2 and 5). So we loaded 6 people in mine and road an hour back. Once back he was an even bigger jerk and told us if we didn't like our experience "we have other options." Well unless this is your only option I would go somewhere else.
  • We've rented from them two years in a row, and plan to do so again this summer. If you like adventure, this is for you. If you're new to renting rangers or 4-wheelers, maybe not. The trail map is pretty daunting, but, to me, that's the fun. Don't be afraid to get lost. The scenery is spectacular, and the off-road is crazy fun.
  • The gentleman running the place (Wayne), was an extremely chill guy. My dad and I rented out the 2 seater Polaris RZR 570. Navigating the trails was a little tough, as the map he gives you is a little confusing, but once you get a hang of how they're connected it's no big deal. The first parts of the main trail are a little rough and uphill, but it was no challenge for the RZR, I left it in 2 HIGH for most of the trail. There was an extreme hill that almost looked to go straight up about 300ft, I was skeptical about even trying it, but I threw it in 4 LOW and went for it. And let me just say, what an incredible machine. It crawled right up the hill no problem. I even went and climbed it a second time it was so much fun. Then we hit some smooth uphill parts of the trail where you could really let the RZR scream. I had the throttle mashed the whole time while racing through these forest trails almost drifting around corners! The suspension on this machine is superb, soaked up every rock in the road. I went through this part of the trail a few times because it felt like I was rally racing! We encountered other riders along the way, and even a few Jeeps, but we could pass each other with no problem. You won't run out of trails to ride in the 4 hours, I wish I had more time! I definitely would recommend the RZR over a 4 wheeler as it's a lot more comfortable being able to sit and lean back.
  • The owner greeted us by name when we walked in. He provided us with helmets and offered snow pants and boots to us. He showed us a map with all of the trails (there are way more trails than you can do in one day). The sled and helmets were in great condition. We had so much fun that we brought the snowmobile back late. Although he owner had been waiting for us for two hours and was probably pretty mad, we had no indication of it. He was super nice and patient. We did pay a late fee, but it's ok. We felt terrible about making him wait. Tl;dr Great service, equipment well maintained, told us everything we needed to know before we left, will definitely do again!!
