  • We have been here several times- and don't enjoy it as much as the other casino's- seems cold and dark. Maybe it's because of the high ceilings and the fact that the other casino's on the "strip" are ...  more »
  • Hoped for a nice meal. Didn't expect too much as Deadwood is known to be low quality and overrated. My wife and I tried to eat there. Waitress told my wife that the salmon comes with asparagus because...  more »
  • Nice place went to the Big & Rich concert here. Sort of small casino, but that's fine with us. Concert area was nice & large. Great concert from the opening acts to Big & Rich.

  • 1st time in my life ever I didn't eat food and wanted refund. Food was room temperature, baked potato wouldn't even melt butter. Meal on menu was described different than what arrived. Waitress lied about what included with meal. Never offered to refill drinks. The worst eating experience that I can recall. I ate a bit of each item on plate and slid it to side. The casino is most boring I have seen. The water was good the one and only glass I was allowed. Concert was fun. The food, service and staff at this place is horrible. I will not do anything but go to a concert at this place again if I get free tickets. I advise everyone not to plan on eating, drinking or gambling here. I expect little from anything in Deadwood as over rated poorly run businesses hope you are a tourist and won't be back or to drunk to notice. This is the worst experience I can remember. I actually thought it would be good, not even close. If you stay here pack your lunch.
  • Very clean and nice hotel. There is a parking garage attached to the hotel which is very nice. The casino part was larger than some of the other casinos in town. The only downside was we had a fridge but did NOT have a microwave in our room. We like to bring our own food so we don't spend too much on vacation. However, the staff made up for it by being very friendly and allowing us to use their break room microwave. Overall good experience.
  • We go to deadwood often to gamble and eat. The grand used to be our favorite spot until recently. Every time we go we don't get served. We have say at the bar avg people will just walk past us and go talk to other employees.
  • Attended the Ron White comedy show. The venue was nice. If I could change anything it would be to have teared seating for better viewing and more bars available for faster drink service.
  • Clean rooms, no breakfast, little too expensive. A hotel that normally charges $100 a night and then when an event arises charges 200-300% more is highway robbery, should be illegal.
