  • The day we visited Deadwood, it poured down rain. We drove right in and saw the museum and decided it was a great place to start our day. The museum has a large collection of wagons, coaches, carriage...  more »

  • Fantastic new building. Manages to take a collection of things (like a large wagon collection) and uses it to tell an easy to follow story without being too esoteric. Not sure how perfect it is for younger children but cool for mixed groups and museum lovers
  • Wonderful exhibits! Definitely worth the money spent. Staff is very pleasant.
  • Friendly, clean, right on end of town, trolley to everywhere! Loved it here! The big horn sheep came through, that was awesome! Didn't discriminate against my pets or motorhome! I drive an 87 so I get turned away a lot :/ gave us maps of area and things to do! Even advice on roads to mount Rushmore since my rv is long :) highly recommend stopping by and checking out the museum!
  • Great place. Very very well done
  • Love the portion dedicated to rodeo.
