  • There is always something happening on this long beach. He must first look at the times of the tides because access by car there is regulated. We are lucky this week because it's nice every day and it is good to spend the day

  • Catch of a lifetime with the fishing right as the sunset, can't imagine the fishing once the pier gets extended.  more »
  • We spent, or rather, my husband spent an entire day 9-4 fishing here. There is crabbys restaurant in the middle. You walk through the restaurant to the gift shop and pay $7 for fishing and then you ca...  more »

  • Nice pier with reasonable prices to fish. They offer pole rentals and you do not need a license to fish here. There is also Crabby Joe's on the pier who has great food or offers to cook your catch. Spectators are often treated to great wildlife views as dolphins and manatees swim by regularly.
  • No fishing license required, rental bait and tackle available right on the pier as well as the sea food restaurant Crabby Joe's also located right on the pier itself. If your catch is legal and you wish to keep it and have the time, for only a small fee the restaurant will cook and prepare your catch for you. Great for tourists coming down for a short stay and don't wish to purchase the 3 day temporary license required in the state of Florida.
  • sorry to see the pier damage but maybe a good thing by the way the pier looked when I saw video on it. The wood was about to fail with wood rot and even a small storm might have damaged it. Hope they rebuild it but also fix all of the remaining part of the bridge that might fail if another storm comes. (and it will) why fix part and have the other half go the next storm.
  • Amber at the baitshop was very helpful. I want to thank her since she went out of her way to help me select a gift. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Somebody give this girl a raise, she knows her stuff! My lady loved the gift! I would definitely recommend this place if you are visiting and want to go eat and fish for a few hours. The shop offers rod rentals too.
  • It's just a pier with a Crabby Joe's restaurant and fishing area in the back. Pretty descent view with occasional surfers
