  • I loved that the parking was free and easy. Allowed my kids a free opportunity to play while overlooking the ocean.  more »
  • Our son took us here and we had a great time and found easy parking during Biketoberfest.. Biketoberfest is a crazy time with motorcycles everywhere, but this park is just a stroll away from the noise...  more »
  • We were told it broke down 2 years ago, too costly to fix. They put in a small playground, to hot to play on. The steps to the beach were very full of sand, had to be very careful the last few steps. ...  more »

  • They have upgraded the playground and the steps to the beach, recently. It's very nice and the kids love playing there. However, not 5 stars because the main attraction, the splash jets, haven't worked all summer. Curious when they will be back. Rate changes to 5 stars when that happens.
  • I'm here a couple times a week after work and sometimes early in the morning. This place makes me sad to call Daytona my home. The homeless population uses this park as a sleeping place, a place to sit all day, a place to store their stuff, and their personal bathroom. I'm here enough to tell you that a good number of cars in the lot are actually homeless people living out of their cars. The building across the street, where the crosswalk is, is, I've been told, a halfway home or assisted living home for people with mental disorders. Sometimes I'm sitting in the lot before I head home and see people buying and selling drugs, using drugs, and have even seen and reported people testing car door handles to see if their unlocked. There's a group of three people I see in the morning cleaning up that deserve a raise and some time off for what I imagine they have to put up with.
  • Nice park. Parking was free and park was clean. Enjoyed walking the beach. Nice place for kids
  • Sun splash has always been one of my favorite parks but when I went today all the sprinklers were gone I hope that isn't permanent otherwise it will be no better than the rest of the parks. 6/28/17
  • We were there for a quiet late night dinner of pizza with the ocean in the background. It was just beautiful.
