  • We went here for an afternoon while staying in Daytona. I hate swimming and heights so my daughter had to go it alone. She had a great time and I made these observations: They have bars inside the wat...  read more »

  • Every single attendant was obviously not happy to be there . We went to laser tag and with 4 people in line the attendant letteraly yelled to get in a single file line (yes it was only his first time saying it) then when my grandson and the family got vest on our 9 year old started to lift his off because it was his first time and the buckle was broken,, same attendant letteraly yelled at him "why are you taking that off!!!??"" Waiting for rock climbing,, could not find help,, went to ask for help and the guy was obviously not happy to be sent there ... overall horrible experience for a lot of money. No more Birthdays at this place...
  • Daytona Lagoon has changed very little even with the $2 million renovation but perhaps there is more to come. Parking garage now has a mural of it on the exterior and prices have increased. Tried to use an incentive listed on the website only to discover "day of"that details were now added making Christmas in July pricing work only in August. Also had to briefly debate that the $3 off coupons at the hotels were NOT "just for Florida residents" otherwise why put them in motels. Chairs are new, lockers are automated and now they have added "premium cabanas", for an additional cost, complete with flat screens and ceiling fans. Perhaps used at times, not while we were present. all part of the improvement. Perhaps some paint was added to exteriors of slides and overall, still fun. Worth noting also is check the calendar CLOSELY as the hours of operation vary and may affect your plans. The WATER part now opens at 11 a change from the past 15 years we have been visiting as tourists. Not sure why as a tourist that is spending money elsewhere in the area that we pay an extra $5, but park may consider that there is a tipping point where the consumer who pays hundreds for a family to visit for 3hours will now no longer also pump money into concessions. Worth a visit, but don't expect significant changes if you visited previous years.
  • The go-karts are better at Daytona Speedpark off of Fentress and ISB, but Daytona Lagoon has a bigger variety of activities and the only true water park in Daytona Beach. On hot summer days it gets really crowded, but it's still pretty fun. The arcade has a few new games and lots of old ones. The pizza is not bad, but it's not a place known for great food. The main attractions are the big water slides. Getting a family pass is a good deal, and there are usually coupons online if you just want to go for the day. Make sure to bring your parking stub with you from the car to get it validated for the parking garage.
  • Went there to cool off as Temps were in the 90s. Tried the largest tunnel slide first.the water temp must have been in the 90s also as it was very hot. The tunnel was so hot I thought I was going to pass out before it was over. Tried the lazy river and wave pool water was to warm to enjoy it also .so we just left.there was hardly anyone there ,I guess I know why now.
  • The website said they were open from 10:00 am till 10:00 pm When you call them you (of course) get automated recording followed with what number to select for the info you are seeking Again it stated hours of operation were 10:00am till 10:00pm To the extreme disappointment of my twins they were closed at 6:00 so disappointing. I would rate this a minus 5 star. Don't trust the website. If your planning a fun family getaway you better make sure the park is actually open
