  • My husband wanted to see the speedway on a road trip to Florida in February 2016...I didn't care if I ever saw it and then ended up really enjoying the visit. The tour on the track was lots of fun and...  more »
  • Nascar is so much better in person. Daytona is an exciting track to watch a race at. The sounds, smells and excitement. It's def good time to be had.

  • I hold a club racing competition license to road race inside Daytona International Speedway. I have raced and instructed many time at Daytona and love it. As both a driver and someone who has enjoyed many races from the stands, let me give you some pointers. If you are spectating, bring a golf cart or a bicycle because it is a big track, and in order to enjoy the track from different views, you need some type of transportation. Otherwise, it is going to be a ton of walking, so wear your best shoes. If you are driving and you have never been on the bank before, it might seem intimidating but do not worry. Gravity and physics take over and you can feel the car gripping on the banks. It is a true experience! Daytona is one of the best tracks ever and is actually quite easy on cars. Track days cost more here because of the facilities and level of the track, but it is worth it!
  • Best experience ever! The Richard Petty Experience was awesome! It was a surprise for my 10 year old and he loved it. Although it rained out on us the first day, we were able to go back the next day and ride. The staff was great too. The driver for the tram was very knowledgeable and friendly. As was everyone else. Definitely can't wait to attend our first race.
  • Fascinating history. Very interesting tour even if you are not a regular Nascar fan. Museum, tour, videos, photos, professional photographers on duty, unexpected views everywhere will amaze you. Gift shop is very large and has souvenirs for every price range.
  • Great place to see races. Wonderful new complex. When you are done with the eaces...head over to Camouflage Dave's Beef Jerky Store for Beef, Alligator, Venison, Shark over 150 different varieties of jerky. Off I95 exit 273 we are inside the Howard Johnson Destination Daytona Hotel shops. Look for the hotel off I95. Anyone can shop their. Love to see you!
  • I've never actually been to a race here, but I go to Daytona Bike Week every year. They have some of the coolest exhibits and even a few sponsored rides, like the Toyota Tundra Test Ride or during bike week you can even test ride your favorite Motorcycle as most of the Major Manufactures exhibit here. (Except KTM, Darn you KTM!) I've also been to the track for RV exhibits as well.
