  • Came here on a wine tasting trail ride and it was wonderful. The wines were excellent and the owners so friendly and helpful. I loved the laid-back and humble attitude of everyone there. It was a trea...  read more »
  • Really enjoyed sampling wines at Winter's Hill. We stopped in the day after the Destination Races 1/2 marathon in Carlton and loved the wine and hazelnuts.
  • Bottom line... There is not a bad wine. What a find. Discovered this family owned vineyard two years ago. I joined the wine club and keep wanting to drop it as I add new ones. Can't do it. The wines a...  read more »
  • INCREDIBLE views, Amazing wine, and the friendliest staff you'll meet on your wine tasting adventure.
  • Fun and young winery.
  • We used to love this place, and have bought hundreds of dollars worth of wine from them. But now, they have a very stingy approach to tasting fees - you get one tasting fee back if you buy one or more bottles. We bought a half-case for $60, on top of over $30 in tasting fees, and they wouldn't reimburse us at all because the wine wasn't full price. Yet they would have if we had spent only $20 on one full price bottle? This approach isn't going to drive us towards buying full-price bottles because I doubt we'll be going back.
  • Winter's Hill makes great wines that represent the best of the Dundee Hills area. The Gladharts are always very friendly and helpful. We love their special events!
  • I agree with kfinstad on his/her review, we paid over $200.00 for wine and still had to pay for the tasting fee which was $9.00. Other wineries in the area only charged $5.00 and waived the fee if you bought wine. I think there are better options out there, even though I did think the wine was good.
