  • Go down I-75 for about 30 miles. They claim the best payouts for slots (90.5% +) and actually seem to pay it, Been there, and at least you get to play for awhile while gambling. Been here too many tim...  more »
  • This is by far the worst of the Ohio casinos we have visited. Small facility, no video poker, smelled musty even though it was a new building and the staff was not friendly.  more »
  • Hollywood gaming has several locations in Dayton. This location only has slots and racing. There isn't any live entertainment like the Columbus and Toledo location. This location also does not have sp...  more »

  • We went to the restaurant, late. My wife and I shared a steak and shrimp (I don't like shrimp and she doesn't.like steak) . The shrimp was overcooked and rubbery. My steak was medium (I ordered medium rare, but I can accept the closeness of temperature) and was not tender. I still have pieces in my teeth after brushing and flossing. The green beans had little flavor to them. The chicken wings were cooked perfect. Crisp skin an tender inside. The bourbon sauce was.just sweet, little flavor. The Asian wing sauce was good. We will eat here if we are hungry and gambling for a while or have comp meals, but we will go to a restaurant before or after the track from now on.
  • Awesome staff. Steve, head of security, was professional and helpful in returning my phone when I misplaced it. We all know phones aren't cheap these days and he helped put my mind at ease when I was stressed about my situation. Lance was also also very understanding and was a stickler for the protocol in place. In the morning Roger took over the door I was entering and exiting from and his warmth and friendliness was just what I have come to expect from the employees at Hollywood casino. I also frequent other locations and the staff here is much more on point with customer relations. Again, thank you to all of you at Hollywood gaming Dayton and also I can't forget the awesome and honest patron to whom I owe a thanks as well for turning in my phone. I believe the good natured folks at the doors set the example and mood so that others follow suit without a second thought. Keep up the good work!
  • This evening was my first and regrettably, my last visit to this facility. My partner and I obtained new member cards this visit as it was our first. We were instructed to insert the card into the machine, enter our PIN, then we would have a USPIN free credit in which the amount would be determined at the time of spin. However, I tried to use my card at five different machines. My card would not read. It kept saying to reinsert the card. I tried it several different times, flipped it and reinserted multiple times. Only one machine read it. When I tried to use my free spin, it just said, "Keep playing". It worked just fine for my boyfriend. I began getting agitated, so I went back to Player Services. They said it could have been my cell phone. She issued a new card and told me to utilize the service button on the machine if it still didn't work. I walked away with the card in my hand and my handbag on the opposite side (my phone was inside of it). We went to three other machines. It only worked on one and again, the free spin was not working. The touchscreen calibration was also off. My boyfriend used his free credit and we left. We are now in transit to Miami Valley Gaming, which we have had a positive experience with in the past. I do not feel as though I should have to waste an hour of my time attempting to spend my money. I will not recommend this place to others, nor will I return.
  • I am always happy when my husband wants to come to Hollywood. However, I am usually disappointed in less than an hour. I find your slots very tight and ungiving. Your staff are kind and helpful, that's a plus. The facility is clean and accommodating also, but I wish the slots would say, "oh, Cheryl is here, let's surprise her today! Thanks!
  • The worst service of any casino anywhere. Can't get a waitress even when you play 25 dollar slots. Restaurant service is horrible. That was tolerable because the food used to be decent. Now the food sucks too. Valet parking attendants who are too lazy to open the door for a women passenger. Finally, overpriced weak drinks. Their excuse is that you can't give free drinks in Ohio. Pretty sure there is no law requiring you to charge restaurant prices for drinks that aren't even free poured. Bottom line: this is why monopolies should not be allowed. If there were a couple of other options locally, Hollywood would be history.
