The only venue of its kind in America, Dayton International Peace Museum includes temporary and permanent exhibits about history of Peace Corps, gun culture, Dayton Peace Accords, peace in music and art, and more. The changing exhibits ensure you get to see something a bit different each time you visit. The museum also houses a children's room, research library, coffee/tea bar, large events hall, two main galleries, and other facilities. Entry is free, but donations are warmly welcomed. It's a real neat place, so much history and relavent stuff happening in today's world. Awesome staff, Dennis even played guitar for us!
This is a tremendous place with such a critical message for us all in today’s world. The staff are knowledgeable, patient and kind. This is not a place to be missed.

A hidden gem in Dayton. Definitely check it out to see some history of the area and learn about historical peace movements
A wonderful afternoon place, open 1 pm to 5 pm. The staff offerred tea and showed all the exhibits. Many heroes of peace including many local honorees are featured in one exhibit. Three floors of exhibits and audiovisual but no elevator. Lovely quilts in an out building are all about the Golden Rule in 17 different religions of the world. I spent 2 hours and came away enlightened.
