This park is a gem! They accommodate horse trailers for horseback riding on their many trails. Great fishing in 2 lakes (one is more like a pond). No license required. Plenty of hiking trails. Photographers love the historic scenery and are always present.

Place is great to come with family or just by yourself. You can do tons of stuff. Fish in any of the ponds without a license. You can walk miles of trails. They also have a living farm that you can see them caring for animals. You can also pet a few if they come close enough. The center also has a historic classroom and play house for kids. Plus tons of information about the area from the past. Finally the best part is the penny candy store that had closed but is now reopen. Must check that out.

Nice place. The little house setup, the blacksmith, the little shop and the horses are all pretty neat. The schoolhouse and the candy shop are the kids favorites though.

Great out door place to go. It's free unless you go to the Gift/Candy shop. Nice people.
