  • A beautiful park with plenty "nature" to see, but the best part is the 1800's living history farm there - you get to see how they farmed way back when! Go check it out - totally fun and interesting!  more »
  • I can see how this park/farm is a great resource for locals, but I wouldn't describe it as a must-see for travelers, especially if you've been to Williamsburg, VA or anything like it. The visitor's ce...  more »

  • This park has a bit of everything. . Historical house's and actors eager to teach. .miles of hiking. .lake for fishing. Horse trails.. Plenty of shelters for partys..and best of all...a penny candy shop and a concession stand..totally worth the trip
  • Place is great to come with family or just by yourself. You can do tons of stuff. Fish in any of the ponds without a license. You can walk miles of trails. They also have a living farm that you can see them caring for animals. You can also pet a few if they come close enough. The center also has a historic classroom and play house for kids. Plus tons of information about the area from the past. Finally the best part is the penny candy store that had closed but is now reopen. Must check that out.
  • One of my favorite places to go as a child. I still go to carriage hill. They have fun events. There is a riding center as well where I took horse back riding classes when I was 7 years old. A beautiful place to learn about Ohio history, visit farm animals, and go on a hike.
  • A personal favorite, 1880's farm life at its finest! A great place for a family outing with animals and history galore!
  • So much fun. Walked around the lake with my kids and had a great time.
