Burt's Farm Reviews
This is a great place for a family to spend a few hours. Burt's is located only a half mile from Amicalola Falls so it is on the way for many tourists, including myself.(I wish I had know that when I ... more »
We found this place by coincidence, as we drove down from the Amicalola Falls. As a Dane, I've never experienced anything like this before. The pumpkins were beautiful, and there were many different k... more »
We went on a Friday evening and arrived a little later than expected. I didn't know the hay tickets sales ended at 5. We tried to buy tickets at 5:15 and were turned down. It would have been nice if t... more »
Worth the drive for all you ITP folks of Atlanta! Nothing like the real thing: a country farm with bluegrass music, fresh cider & more pumpkins than you could ever imagine! Burt’s is a great spot for the family in October to find the perfect pumpkin for your family. Everything is reasonably priced & the wheelbarrows they provide sure do help when you don’t feel like carrying around a 20lb Pumpkin! Thanks Burt’s, we will see you again next Fall!
My son, fiance, mother and I all visited for a pumpkin and tractor ride. Definitely was the highlight of fall thus far. Beautiful place. Between the people, the property and all the butterflies, my one year old son was 'that one kid who won't stop crying'. And all he got was smiles and warm words from the workers there. And once that tractor got going he fell in love. Wich made mom and dad fall in love as well. An excellent family place to visit.
This farm is family friendly. There's a section of huge pumpkins! :) They have everything nicely organized. The pumpkins are placed by size, shape, and color in organized groups. It makes it easier to look through pumpkins. They have a store with a variety of items. Parking is free. Worth the drive! :)
I have always loved going to Burt’s Pumpkin patch but this year was such a disappointment. We had fun taking pictures and searching for pumpkins but one employees attitude ruined our trip. I tried to inform Burt’s of the issue we had so that they could make sure other families don’t experience this but they were not concerned. We were in line for the hay ride when it started to rain. We asked the driver if we could wait for a covered trailer, he told us that he didn’t have time for this and proceeds to kick three families out of line till he could fill his trailer. We had been waiting for 1 hour with our small children for the ride. We put our pumpkins back and left. Very disappointed. There are plenty of other “pumpkin farms” in the area that appreciate your business. They won’t be getting any future business from me...not that they care.
I can't believe this business is anti-American. From the news reports they are in favor of a North Korean dictatorship type country, not our democratic form of government. I was shocked to read of their anti-American views. Just shocked :( They need to pack their bags and move to the communist country of their choice, and the quicker the better. While I respect their opinion, and in America they have their right to wanting a communist government, they do not have the right to interfere with the rights of others in the U.S.. America is about freedom of speech, and every person has the right to attend political events and record those events and post them on YouTube for everyone to view/read. When you have a political event on your property you wave your right of privacy and can not decide what reporter can attend and film what candidates for public office say. Once someone decides to run for PUBLIC office every word they speak is subject to the press and press is anyone with a camera, video recorder, or other device to capture everything said and done. I have the right to not patronize an anti-American business, and I have the right to speak about there support of a communistic form of government where people are prevented from reporting the news. They CLAIM to support the Second Amendment but CLEARLY do not support the First Amendment:( Stay away from this communist business. Google Nydia Tisdale, the 50+ years old lady they had arrested for exercising her 1st Amendment right under the U.S. Constitution. Good men have died to preserve and protect the Nydia Tisdale of the world, this business dishonors their sacrifice.
