  • We decided to stop at the safari because it was along the way. Whatever you do, do NOT go in the gate before the opening time. Even if it is open. The boss doesn't like it. It is a little pricey. My h...  read more »

  • Animals are a bit tedious in that 80% of them are emus and llamas but still a great opportunity to meet animals up close. It's rather spendy but as long as it goes towards husbandry I'm okay with it. They have some rides and other attractions but honestly as often as I've been they've never been open. Check out the camels (my favorite!) For real personality and they won't attack you for your food cup! Definitely #recommend
  • Even rating this a 1 star is ridiculous!! We brought our 5 year old son today. It cost 60 bucks for 2 adults and 1 child! I was suppose to receive a discount for living in Carter county-Ardmore area and before I could even tell the girl she had already ran my card. I told her about it and she informed me to"remember"to tell her next time bc now it was too late! Seriously?! I politely took my card back and we proceeded to the walk thru part. There were literally 3 animals in the entire park. The up keep is not in order. They charge all this money and the entire place is falling apart! We are currently do the drive thru part and there have only been 2 animals. My son is disappointed as well as my wife and I. Where did my 60 dollars just go???
  • Remembered this place fondly as a young kid. We took our kids there and the gift shop is falling apart and restrooms are filthy. Staff was nice but not helpful. The walk through feeding was pathetic and rides were shut down. The drive through area was disappointing also. The animals consisted of two camels that were molting, one tiger, and several llamas and donkeys that acted as if they hadn't eaten in a long time, and one rhino that looked like it wanted to be dead. Very poor drinking water for the caged animals. I was concerned for my kids when the emus began eating the wood fence in front of us when we got close. Also never saw any staff around the park, only in the gift shop. Enter at your own risk.
  • Other than the one giraffe, one white tiger, and one rhino, we have owned all of the other animals we saw. Vehicles would not pull to the side to let others pass. We fed donkeys and ostriches. The walk thru is a joke. We fed catfish. The go cart area was not in operation, nor was the paddle boats. No refreshment stand. The reptile area contained 3 lizards. A big waste of money and time for us. Such a shame this place has huge potential to be so run down. Definitely needs new management. A big waste of our 3 1/2 hr trip for us. Will not come back.
  • My family and I drove 2 hours to visit this place over the weekend. I had been about 4 years ago and had a pretty good time. This time was a complete waste of money. The gift shop was disgusting. The bathrooms were awful and the merchandise was a joke. The staff wasn't friendly, very bland and not too helpful. Thank god we brought an ice chest because they didn't have drinks or snacks anywhere in the park. But If you want to feed donkeys this is your place, that's about all we got to feed. The animals looked miserable. One camel we seen had a bloody leg. There were 3 exotic animals out of the whole park. Wasn't impressed at all. I'm not sure what happened but this place went WAY down hill. We also wanted to ride the go carts and paddle boats but they were closed. . It was priced way to high for the experience we had. Needs new management for sure. Wouldn't suggest it.
