  • Really neat place to visit. The sting ray tank was very fun and tons of educational exhibits. I would definitely recommend stopping here, especially to families.

  • This was much smaller than we were expecting, but it's a neat place to learn about the local sea life. You are able to pet stingrays and a small shark, but the pool is very deep, so they have to cooperate in order for you to pet them successfully. We were pleased to spend a couple hours here when it was too hot to be on the beach. If you're staying in Gulf Shores/Fort Morgan/Orange Beach, definitely take the ferry over and back instead of going up through Mobile!
  • Visited while staying in Ft Morgan and was quite impressed. Kids ages 13-7 had a great time and there are numerous hands on exhibits. Though the building may be a little dated, there was no shortage of sea creatures and it was very clean. If staying in GS or FM be sure to schedule your trip around the ferry and go early, the wait can stack up fast.
  • Great experience and friendly knowledge staff. A great location to visit for the afternoon, located near the fort and the ferry, lots of local water-life to see, tanks and facility are very well kept. This is a smaller local aquarium and sea lab so it’s not like the large aquariums in New Orleans or Mississippi. However the price is super affordable, it’s a great place to learn about the bay and gulf coast. Highly recommend.
  • Such a fun and exciting place to take the whole family. Any age person will enjoy something about the place. My favorite part about the whole thing was all the fun we had while still learning a bunch about the diversity of Alabama’s regions, their climates, and the fish that live there. Cool hands on experience touching the stingrays. I can’t wait to go back! There’s lots more to do that I didn’t get a chance to because of time. Good reason to return again.
  • We had a wonderful time at the aquarium! It is just the right size (not tiny, not overwhelmingly huge) and has a wonderful gift shop. Be sure to walk the boardwalk and read the info at the stops. Everything is so interesting!
