  • Very clean grounds, bathrooms are clean. Unbelievable amount of shower offered to guests. There were enough that we never ran into line ups. Wasn't overly pleased with the food. One recommendation: Da...  read more »
  • Stayed several times in a rented Executive RV - worth the price. The proximity to the park entrance is a welcome bonus. The park has the standard old-timey-type rides that all are in need of some seri...  read more »

  • We had a wonderful family holiday. Loved staying in the RV. It was nice and close to the park, very clean and fully equipped with what we needed (two bedroom areas, a bathroom, eating area and the fire pit outside of course). The laser show reminds me of when I was a kid, brings back a lot of memories which was enjoyable for me to experience it with my own two kids now. I also love how my girls are able to go on so many rides (not just in the kiddie section) as they're only 2.5 and 5. It makes it more fun when they can enjoy more. We really appreciated being given the exchange deal where we were given the breakfast buffet for free both mornings as well as a $100 in park credit, considering we're Canadian and the trip cost us more (thanks to our dollar), so that deal definitely helped us out and made it feasible to go! We are looking forward to our next visit next summer.
  • My three year old grand-daughter was so excited for her first visit to Darien Lake but when we got there she was very disappointed to find that many of the rides in the smaller children sections could not be ridden with either a parent or older sibling. Darien Lake tickets are very expensive and parking is exorbitant. The water park was so crowded that there were no chairs and lines were ridiculous. Add all that to the 45 min. ride from Rochester and very expensive in park food and our family will spending our entertainment money right here at home at Seabreeze Amusement Park next year. Very disappointed.
  • We always enjoy our visits to Darien Lake. The staff are professional and friendly. There is always a good deal to be had, even with the current poor exchange rate. We feel we get excellent value for our money. It would be nice if the water park opened earlier in the morning, perhaps only for those staying, not necessarily day trippers. We will be back.
  • Park continues to go downhill. I always find myself giving Darien Lake another chance and every visit they find new ways to make me never want to go there again. The attractions are old and run down. All the roller coasters run one train. Even Viper which has always ran two trains is now down to one. This causes unnecessarily long lines throughout the park. The theming and general look of the park is not something I'd be proud of. Parking is an absolute joke, especially during concerts. Such a shame.
  • Visited with my husband and son June18 through 20 and stayed at the hotel on-site. We have been before and enjoyed ourselves. Park and rides - Staff is always friendly, park is clean and well-maintained and rides are awesome. - This would get 5 stars Hotel - Bed is very firm, rooms dated and could use updating. We had an issue with the sink draining very slowly and reported it to the front desk the first day but nothing was done. On our last night we returned to the room at the end of our day to find that the toilet had overflowed and soaked the floor and carpeting. We reported this to the front desk and they promptly switched us to a different room but it was a pain as our we were all tired by then and just wanted some sleep. When we checked out the next day all we were offered for our inconvenience was a coupon for a free pizza. A discount on our next stay would have been nice. - 3 stars Overall, good park to visit. Not as busy as some other amusement parks so the lines and waiting are greatly reduced.
