Kennekuk Cove County Park is a 3000acre park in Blount Township in Vermilion County, Illinois. It is located about 5mi west of Danville, Illinois and is bordered by the Middle Fork State Fish and Wildlife Area on the west and the Kickapoo State Recreation Area on the south. Caught 8 fish kayaking. Seen 2 eagles and 10 ospreys and 3 blue herrings. It was a beautiful day with the sun shining. A peaceful and relaxing day. I would recommend this park for everyone.
Plenty of attractions to peak your interest from the old restored buildings like the Neff Grocery ,barber shop and the Red Oak school. The one room school which I attended as a kid shows the nostalgia... read more »

The Great Park for being a county run facility. Some of the best trail running trails in the area. Good place to spend the weekend.
