  • Stunning collection in a beautiful facility. The interpreter has so much knowledge, it blew me away. I have been talking about my experience here ever since I left. Highly recommend you spend some time and ask questions!
  • Great for all ages and a "must see" while travel to or through Alabama!! The most wonderful, informative, and educational experience, at a mound site we have ever had! We were greeted by a sweet elderly interpreter who has vast knowledge about the mounds. His passion for this mound site really enhanced the visitor experience. Although I forgot his name, we will remeber the story's he shared with us about the Native American culture who once inhabited Oakville during the Paleo Indian period.
  • A lot of artifacts in a small package. Nice recap of the areas history. The pond was almost dry when we visited.
  • Cool place kids like it educational
  • Go see it!!! It is fabulous and very educational! Take the whole family
