Beautiful little gem in the middle of an urban area. Great place to visit for a few hours. The facilities are very clean and informative, and it's an easy park to access.
This place was very neat! You can walk 2 trails and see some really neat wildlife. We saw crabs, birds, squirrels, lizards and some beautiful spiders. You can etch drawings along one of the trails and... read more »
Awesome nature center! My kids loved it (2,7,9) the volunteer there George was a real sweet heart he interacted with my kids showing them the different Insects and talking about them. He went outside and got a spider and put her on his arm to show my boys that they are harmless. Very nice place to go and see nature :)

My three year old loves this place. It's free to visit and they have a few nice trails to walk along. Watch out for spiders, this place is the home of tons of golden orb weavers. Beautiful!
A friend of mine had a beautiful wedding surrounded by trees & nature itself. It was just beautiful. The hall was great for the dinner & you could still go outside to sit on benches. Around you was all of nature!
Very nice spot for an easy walk. Without going into the buildings we covered all the trails in about an hour. Didn't see that much wildlife but it is in the middle of an urban setting so that's understandable. It has free wifi at the buildings and great use of signage to explain the wildlife. Good for all ages!
