  • I love this course, well kept.
  • I have played Richter a number of times the last few years and most recently in April and May of 2012. Like many local courses, Richter struggled through an awful winter in 2011. Many greens were damaged and the course conditions were not the best. I was surprised at the improvement this Spring. The greens were challenging and in much better condition. I played in four hours or less each time and the staff was polite and professional. The rates have also come down making Richter more attractive to out-of -state golfers. I will recommend it to friends.
  • A unique, scenic and devilishly challenging track for all skills. Most courses have 1 or 2 signature holes. Richter has at least 6. Blind shots, dizzying downhill drives, shots over the lake, even quicksand! A lot to love. It's my favorite course in the NY area, and I've played Bethpage Black, Yale U, Pine Hollow, Engineers, Fresh Meadow and lots of other top clubs. Richter rules.
  • Update 07/01/2011 - Raised prices and course has been in horrible shape. Stay away if your not a danbury resident. Arrogance at its worst. Six hour rounds for 95 dollars. If you willing to pay that price Centennial is the place, professionally run and worth the dollars. Looking for great round for your money cant beat the Links at Union Vale. They treat you like they want you to be there.
