Zero Gravity Thrill Amusement Park, Dallas

4.3
#2 of 14 in Fun & Games in Dallas
Feel the adrenaline rush at Zero Gravity Thrill Amusement Park, home to a collection of rides featuring big drops and high speeds. Hop aboard one of the five attractions at the park, strap in, and prepare to experience some extreme gravitational forces. Try the "ejection seat," in which you blast 46 m (150 ft) straight up at speeds faster than a car on the freeway, or dare to test out the park's 30 m (100 ft) free fall into a safety net. Don't miss the classic bungee jump ride, in which you'll jump from the platform and fall seven stories before bouncing back up. Keep in mind that the nature of these rides may not be suitable for timid visitors. • Best adrenalin rush ever! The staff is great, we will definitely be back. Worth the five hour drive to get there!
  • Great place to take the fam. We all had a splendid time.
  • So much fun! The free fall is really fun but a little rough on the head/neck area as you fell into the net really hard. The spin thing (not the bungee) the one that spins while going 70 mph is SO MUCH fun! The guys and shift supervisor were also really nice!!
  • Amazing experience. I can only speak on the sixteen story free fall into a net, which was a huge adrenaline rush! Would definitely return!
  • I didn't realize the place was small and expensive. It was still fun and I would recommend it for teenagers if they have $50-$100 to blow.

Where to stay in Dallas

Though the downtown area offers more high-end accommodations, the heaviest concentration of hotels in Dallas is in the northern part of the city. Staying in this area while on holiday allows you to choose from a range of affordable and comfortable lodgings just a short drive from the city's major attractions. Depending on the purpose of your visit, you may find it more convenient to stay close to the airport or near the city's amusement parks. A budget-friendly alternative, the northern suburbs offer decent accommodations and plenty of shops and restaurants.
