  • Went here to get my first ever cowboy boots (since I was a child) and this place did not disappoint. There is a HUGE selection of boots from leather to exotics (ostrich, lizard, snake). They have boot...  more »
  • Purchased a great pair of boots from here with the help of the lovely staff in finding the right size. Most boots stocked here are the Carroll brand and very high quality but pricey (approx $250+)  more »
  • We were visiting Dallas from Canada. Our son wanted a cowboy hat and, since we were going to visit downtown, we stopped by at Wild Bills. While browsing through the store our son was up near the hats ...  more »

  • I walked in and this old cowboy, Bill walks up to me and says "Let's get you a hat" he leads me up to the hat area and guesses correctly my hat size. He found the perfect hat and shaped it up for me. He was very friendly and helpful, I did end up buying a hat from him. My wife wanted a new pair of cowboy boots. She didn't like any of the pair she tried on. I swear she tried on close to twenty pairs. But Bill was determined, he thought and thought about what she might like(he must know his store very well) and finally brought out a pair and she loved them. They were expensive, they they are by far her favorite pair of boots she's ever owned. During the whole time Bill was telling me rodeo stories and places he's been and seen. All in all it was a very enjoyable experience. I spent a lot of money, but I don't regret it.
  • They have a lot of very beautiful boots here and jewelry, but the place is very expensive. So unless you have a couple hundred dollars to spend, minimal I wouldn't even visit here. Would be really nice if they had a clearance section where you could go and buy out-of-season things, at a decent price. I'm a bargain shopper so this is very important to me.
  • Amazing place and amazing service. My shoe size is not always easy to find but they helped me and I purchased my first pair of boots. They are Customer Service thru and thru..When in Dallas stop on by.. they are great!
  • Got a great pair of boots, and a history lesson to go with it from Kelly, a salesperson whom you could tell was very passionate about the products she sells.
  • Pricy but you know you are getting great quality. Very nice people....

Where to stay in Dallas

Though the downtown area offers more high-end accommodations, the heaviest concentration of hotels in Dallas is in the northern part of the city. Staying in this area while on holiday allows you to choose from a range of affordable and comfortable lodgings just a short drive from the city's major attractions. Depending on the purpose of your visit, you may find it more convenient to stay close to the airport or near the city's amusement parks. A budget-friendly alternative, the northern suburbs offer decent accommodations and plenty of shops and restaurants.
