Where to stay in Dallas

Though the downtown area offers more high-end accommodations, the heaviest concentration of hotels in Dallas is in the northern part of the city. Staying in this area while on holiday allows you to choose from a range of affordable and comfortable lodgings just a short drive from the city's major attractions. Depending on the purpose of your visit, you may find it more convenient to stay close to the airport or near the city's amusement parks. A budget-friendly alternative, the northern suburbs offer decent accommodations and plenty of shops and restaurants.

  • My two teenage daughters (15 & 17) and I (their 40+ mom) had a thrilling time yesterday at TFAP. Rain delayed our drive down there from McKinney, but worked in our favor to drop the temps and thin out...  more »
  • My husband and I finally decided to try this out. It did not disappoint. The weather was perfect for us too! We did the Green 1 (easy), Blue 1 (hard/medium), Blue 2 (easier than B1 but still hard/medi...  more »

  • I had fun here. The pool isn't that big and its not cold but also not hot. I chose to NOT get in the pool because it seemed just a bit dirty. I loved playing volleyball, and rock climbing. The food wasn't the best. They had snow cones and popcorn as snacks and soda. I didn't go paddling, but i heard that was fun. All I basically did was go rock climbing once and play volleyball for the rest of the day with friends and opponents. The horse back riding was closed and so was zip lining.
  • My experience here was a one to remember. The many different obstacles were scary, but not impossible. The feeling of walking on a tightrope while attached to a seemingly thin rope was exhilarating. I wouldn't recommend this place for the faint of heart.
  • This place was a blast, if you like the outdoors and a bit of a challenge. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend anyone to visit this place.
  • It's a nice place to just settle down and have fun with a group of friends. Amazing staff too.
  • My family and I went to this place but wasn't told that if we get afraid we couldn't go back up on any of the obstacles. First of all the website say zip line and obstacles but it needs to specify that you can't just do zip line only, which was all we wanted to do its like they just takes your money even if you don't want to complete some of the courses if you get frightened. Please don't go here if you want zip line only. I hated this place please get clarification of what the rules are which we didn't do cause you will lose your money they are greedy pigs just like most places
