The Museum is divided into several sections that tell the story of Dallas through the ages is quite interesting the first part where a movie very well done tells how did the city and how it has developed other parts for me are minor annoyances and the exhibits do not say much

Wow! The Old Red Museum is a gorgeous venue!! There was a great room for me and my girls to get ready in! Casey was great to work with and very flexible!! I would highly recommmend this venue!! It was a great space and relatively inexpensive!

The building is one of the coolest in Dallas, get some pictures. The inside is more lackluster. The exit is well maintained but info bare. It serves as an hours worth overview of the history of Dallas. Too cluttered and bland for kids, too basic for adults. Still a decent way to kill an hour as there are a few worthy tidbits like Clyde Barrows gun or Tom Landrys hat.

Ten dollar entry fee. Not much to look at inside. Probably best to just look at from the outside .the exhibits are not much to look at in that most if them are just old photos

I've been to this museum twice. Once for a fund raiser and later for Civil Rights training. The museum is always clean and most of the staff is friendly. My only complaint is that bathrooms are scattered and hard to locate.

Our first time. Love historical sites and lots to see here and around. Lot of things we didn't know, now we do.

Where to stay in Dallas

Though the downtown area offers more high-end accommodations, the heaviest concentration of hotels in Dallas is in the northern part of the city. Staying in this area while on holiday allows you to choose from a range of affordable and comfortable lodgings just a short drive from the city's major attractions. Depending on the purpose of your visit, you may find it more convenient to stay close to the airport or near the city's amusement parks. A budget-friendly alternative, the northern suburbs offer decent accommodations and plenty of shops and restaurants.
