  • Alright Dallas, about time, you guys stepped up to the plate and did something right. I actually love Klyde Warren Park. I hate that it closes at them time that all parks in the City of Dallas close, but it is a great place to go. Their playground kind of sucks, but it's okay. The have a kiddie play area, a dog park and they are always having events. Last year (2016) right before Halloween, they had something going on and it was crowded, but it was a good thingamajig. I like the whole scenery, they have food trucks and they sell beer and alcohol, however let me warn you, they are expensive. They have a Southwest Airlines sitting area and Southwest Airlines need to clean that sitting area furniture or upgrade it. It has gotten pretty dirty. It was really clean when they first put it there, but now it needs cleaning. They have a water play area where the kids go and play in the the mini fountain area, I thing they have like 3 or 4 of them. This would be a good place to have a wedding or baby shower, especially if the grass is not blocked off (because it is going). I have nothing negative yet to say about this park, it is really nice.
  • I love the different games you can rent for free. They were some B-boys dancing on the stage and kids were joining in. It's a diverse crowd. Food trucks were pretty good. Best part, I whupped my boyfriend in checkers about 4 times in a row.
  • Tons of quality free activities: yoga, dance, art, live music. Free game rentals. Cute albeit small dog park. Great kids park - both dog and kid's parks have water features which is a must in Texas heat. Wide variety of food trucks but I like that you can also bring your own picnic to events. Wonderful place to spend the morning/afternoon or even the day.
  • If you have an hour or so this is a great place to come for lunch. There are so many great food truck choices to choose from. I really enjoyed Walt Garrisons bar-b-que. The atmosphere is really chill on a beautiful sunny day. If you work in the area I would definitely take the time to check it out. Walk if you can, parking is scarce.
  • Very kid friendly! Around lunch there are a variety of food vendors. The person that designed this park understands a hot Texas day. There's plenty of shade and a lot of fun places to splash around in the water. The atmosphere of this place is amazing!
