The Katy Trail extends 3.5 miles from Airline Road near SMU to the American Airlines Center. As a recreational resource the Katy Trail serves walkers, runners, bikers and skaters with a 12 foot concrete path and soft surface path. It's a 30 acre ribbon of green connecting 125 acres of adjacent parks linking several Dallas neighborhoods.
