  • This is an amazing public garden with care and acres of beautiful plants and trees. It is easy to walk around and enjoy the many areas of the gardens. Everything is well tended. We had lunch sitting outside overlooking the gardens and listening to a delightful pianist. Our food was very tasty and nicely presented. The price was good. There are also stands that sell fast food, but it is worth taking the time to sit and enjoy a nice meal in a gorgeous atmosphere.
  • Really beautiful and well maintained gardens. They had a good selection of easy walking paths, fountains, and tons of photo ops! They also have some food options on site if you are hungry, including an air conditioned restaurant. Only downside was the price. The $15 per person did NOT include parking, which was another $15. And if you want to go to the super cool kids area, it is an extra $3 per person. Plan to stay for a while to make the most of it.
  • I was visiting my brother and sister-in-law in Dallas and we decided to go to the arboretum. It was a little early, but the tulips and early spring flowers were blooming. The views of the lake were very nice and the children's section was great, and we don't even have kids, but enjoyed it a lot! Wish we had more time to explore, and would be great to see the roses in bloom, the magnolia trees etc. There were some unique fountains to see also. We didn't get to eat but it looked like there were quick foods like hot dogs, something different like grilled cheese and there were nicer restaurants that looked like they would be very good! A nice gift shop too. If you enjoy being outside, looking at flowers, trees, fountains, getting ideas for your own garden, it's a great place. A great place for pictures for prom, weddings, etc. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!
  • Enjoyed this experience, but the prices (especially for parking) are very steep. $15 for parking in a location such as this is outrageous. Also, I would recommend using the Groupon app if you are planning to go in the upcoming days before July 31st. I completely forgot to use it and could have saved almost $15 on tickets for 2. Figured I would at least share the info with someone else, in hopes of helping another person save on general admission pricing. Beautiful place nonetheless!
  • Gorgeous area with absolutely beautifully maintained flowers, plants and trees. They had sculptures set up with perfect backdrops of scenery, and an area where a couple of guys were doing sculptures actively in the park. Very interesting to watch. If you haven't visited yet, it should be on your list. Great place to take visitors too. I will be visiting during each seasonal change.
