  • Really not expecting much here, but rather like the other art venues nearby this gallery is stunning. The collections which we viewed were fabulous, and particularly appropriate as we had just had Diw...  more »
  • If you are in the Art District, stop by this little museum. While it is not large, it has a lovely and impressive collection. It's in the middle of the Art District and has a nice little gift store.  more »
  • For those who know the Asian Museum of the city of San Francisco, probably does not meet expectations, but worth it.

  • I'm so excited for the renovations to be done! I like the layout of the museum. The layout makes sense and it makes it easier to appreciate the art. I also like the section where you get to make art. It's more interactive. The gift shop is also really nice. I appreciate that the museum is also free! I love that!
  • Lovely place with a small but excellent collection... free admission and very helpful staff... too bad the third floor was closed for an upcoming exhibit ... loved the samurai armor and the landscape paintings... don't miss it
  • The Crow Collection of Asian Art was one of the surprise findings on our trip to Dallas. The museum isn't very large, but has a great collection of pieces. If you want to read the information plates for each art piece you can probably make your way through the museum in under two hours. We spent about an hour there strolling around. I actually visited the museum twice while in Dallas, once with my daughter and then again when we brought my wife there to see the collection. The museum is also free, but does appreciate donations.
  • Beautiful art from all over Asia, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and impeccably maintained galleries. Calm, relaxing atmosphere and lovely garden for catching a breath of fresh air and conversation on the upper level. Highly recommended.
  • There is hardly any variety to the works on the museum. Most of the art is just a different version of something else in the museum, but the historical details they give are interesting and help visitors understand the Asian cultures.

Where to stay in Dallas

Though the downtown area offers more high-end accommodations, the heaviest concentration of hotels in Dallas is in the northern part of the city. Staying in this area while on holiday allows you to choose from a range of affordable and comfortable lodgings just a short drive from the city's major attractions. Depending on the purpose of your visit, you may find it more convenient to stay close to the airport or near the city's amusement parks. A budget-friendly alternative, the northern suburbs offer decent accommodations and plenty of shops and restaurants.
