Where to stay in Dallas

Though the downtown area offers more high-end accommodations, the heaviest concentration of hotels in Dallas is in the northern part of the city. Staying in this area while on holiday allows you to choose from a range of affordable and comfortable lodgings just a short drive from the city's major attractions. Depending on the purpose of your visit, you may find it more convenient to stay close to the airport or near the city's amusement parks. A budget-friendly alternative, the northern suburbs offer decent accommodations and plenty of shops and restaurants.

  • First time to shop Central Market. The store is really nice. The meat market and deli is beyond exceptional. Purchased sandwiches and ate outside on cafe patio.  more »

  • It's a grocery store, but it's a great grocery store. Well stocked, high quality and great variety. And their in-store lunch options are great. Can be crowded, so shopping early in the morning might be the best time. And if the weather is nice, eat on the 2nd floor terrace.
  • Friendly helpful staff everywhere. Clean, well stocked from the basic everyday ingredients to the exotic. The prepared food items from the deli and cafe are always delicious! Never a bad experience here!
  • Love this store. They have the most amazing produce ever. I love that they carry some Canadian produce and local Texas organic produce. They have a decent grass fed beef selection and lamb. The seafood dept is super snotty. I only get when I dont have time to run to Kroger @ Mockingbird ( which has the same seafood for less price and they are nicer). They also carry local grass fed milk non homogenized and the most amazing goat yogurts ever. Good cheese and deli. I love the H-E-B brand organic products and wish they carried more. The feature of the store is their produce.
  • Wow, what a selection of tasty food! They don't have absolutely everything, but the hand pressed juices, free samples, amazing cheese, irresistible bakery has me giving only one piece of advice: better budget, because you'll want to own the store.
  • I LOVE the floral department, the variety of flowers, and the location of where the floral department is placed in the store. Reminds me of an outdoor European flower market, but only it's indoors instead. Great job!
