4.3/5 based on 850+ reviews on the web
Opened in 2001, American Airlines Center mixes architecture with technology for a modern, multipurpose arena. The center is home to the NBA's Dallas Mavericks and the NHL's Dallas Stars, and it also hosts large concerts and live entertainment events. The arena's high-tech, retractable seating allows its capacity to change from 18,532 seats for hockey games and 19,200 seats during basketball games to 21,000 for concerts. Take a guided tour of the arena to learn how the space is converted for different events and to see more of the building's impressive architecture. On the tour, you can visit the press box, a luxury suite, party rooms, and many other areas otherwise off limits to the public. • Coming to the American Airlines Center for the first time from out of state made me realize how much effort was put into guest comfort. There were many friendly employees happy to assist with question...  read more »
  • Been to concerts and sporting events. Crowds are always managed well to get in and out. I've always been able to find close and reasonable parking. Overall good experience with each visit.
  • The parking is awful here. We parked what we thought was near the entrance...Wrong! We had to walk and walk and walk to get to the entrance. I'm so glad we were early. Once we got inside all was bette...  read more »
  • I frequent American Airlines and really enjoy the venue. It's large by seat number, but the vantage points across the arena are great. Their are pretty decent food selections and many to choose from. The people that work there have always been very helpful and kind. Parking ranges from $10-25 depending on the lots near the arena for self parking and can often be purchased with the show tickets.
  • Horrible Customer Service. My seat for the event tonight was soaking wet with some sort of cleaning solution. My pants were completely soaked. They are stained. It smelled like cleaning solution during the concert. When I told the usher, he asked me to exit during the concert. Afterwards they told me they could have offered me other seats, like that would fix the problem? That would not dry my pants. They offered no other solutions. Honestly they made me feel like I had done something wrong. I have never had this experience anywhere! Unacceptable! And others around me complained of the same thing.
  • Went to a Stars game here. The building was well laid out and they put on a good show. The place was clean and well maintained. My only issue was with the steep stadium seating and narrow seats. The area around it was under construction but that will clear up over time. There are plenty of places to walk to around here and plenty of parking locations within walking distance too.
  • went to Ringling brother's and barnum and bailey circus, they have a great show. American Airlines center staff s very professional well organized and friendly, also had DPD assisting the event.
  • Home of the Mavs! Great place and kept up very well. Easy to get here with the Dart rail. If you're driving there is plenty of parking around the area. GO MAVS!!
