You can even climb aboard a camel, one of the park's other four-legged residents, and take part in a guided ride. Don't neglect the other creatures that call this ranch home: be sure to stop by the pygmy hippopotamus and rhino exhibits, and keep your eyes peeled for antelope, oryx, warthogs, and more on your tour. • Just a great experience! First day of our vacation and this experience will be hard to beat. We fed the lemurs and the giraffes and got to see lots of beautiful and exotic animals. While on the spendy side of things, it was a great time and one my kids will remember. We definitely recommend stopping here.
  • GREAT FUN FOR ALL AGES --- LEX HIS WIFE AND FRIENDS ARE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND WILL ANSWER ALL YOUR QUESTIONS ABOUT ANIMALS --- AND MAKE LEARNING ABOUT THEM FUN -- A CLEAN WELL RUN SAFARI ---- A WELL KEPT RANCH --- THE GIRAFFES ARE INCREDIBLE
  • The animals are neat, even though many of them seem to be enclosed in much too small cages or pens so that visitors can see them better. The tour felt like being dragged along while the owner did his farm chores, and his attitude was offensive. We listened to two hours of political nastiness, racist comments, a "joke" about wishing my home state would fall off into the sea, inappropriate religious remarks, etc. peppered with the names of the various animal species we were passing. I'd never recommend this place.
  • My boyfriend and I took our two 2 year olds for my birthday this past weekend. While we did have fun, there is no way I would ever pay $75.00 per person for this experience again. I was told on the phone that we were allowed to touch the giraffes and we were not. The giraffe feeding experience only lasted about 10 minutes, which you can do at Lowry Park Zoo for $3.00 or Busch Gardens for $35.00 (where you are allowed to touch them and they are out in the open allowed to run free in an environment much like their natural habitat). Our kids actually liked the chickens best out of everything, which says a lot about the experience. Don't mean to put the ranch down but it was in no way worth the money it cost. Very cute little town though and seeing the countryside on the drive to and from was probably my favorite thing about the entire day. Go to Lowrey Park Zoo or Busch Gardens for a great and much, much cheaper experience.
  • It was a wonderful visit. Loved being up close to the animals. The owners and the tour was excellent. The Con is that it is expensive. I feel that for the price of the tour should include feeding of all the animals. You don't have to pay extra to feed the giraffes, but there is a $20.00 fee per animal if you choose to feed them. If you choose not to pay the extra fee, you stay on the truck and watch. It was clean, educational, and enjoyable.
