  • Stayed for a Saturday night, passing through the area. Got a tent reservation close to the bathroom/showers which was awesome. The ranger was super polite and hard working, the other guests were respe...  more »
  • The Cove has a nice swimming area but keep driving up the road and over the bridge for spectacular views. There's a great cafe near boat launch that has delicious burgers & fries!  more »

  • Amazing park! Extremely help full staff , specially park ranger. I stayed at cabin which was just in front of lake with gas grill. Noticed that there are no photos available for cabins, so i am posting here to get idea on how cabins were. Cabins was clean and can fit upto 5 people. Keep in mind there is was gas/stove available in cabins, so only microwave cooking.
  • Beautiful park! Several day use areas along with a few campgrounds to check out. It's worth a detour just to drive around and see this amazing place firsthand!
  • With a breathtaking view from the ridge, the Cove Palisades Park encompasses Lake Billy Chinook, which was created at the convergence of three rivers behind a dam. It is a recreation site with a marina, several campgrounds, and picnic areas along the lakeshore. The park is located off Hwy. 26, making it one of the more accessible parks from the Portland metro area. Book early for busy three-day weekend.
  • This is a very nice little place to camp. It's a lot further from the water than I though it would be, but they have restrooms, showers, iron camp fire rings with grills, and the park hosts seem to be active in keeping the grounds nice, clean, and quite.
  • Jaw dropping!! We stopped here on our way back from Bend based on a recommendation and thought it was so beautiful. We didn't get to spend much time here, but plan on going back.
