  • We had a great time. As we were walking in Tim was walking out. He stopped and talked for a long time. Couldn't have been nicer. We took pics and he signed bottles of Climax for us. Chuck came out too...  more »
  • Saw signs for this spot on the highway. Divided to take a chance and it was well worth the stop. The guide took us all through the barns and showed us how everything was produced. Tried some great moo...  more »
  • It's a nice drive down some roads with great scenery. The distillery tour was very interesting. Lots of history there. Picked up some craft spirits and was lucky to meet Tim Smith! All in all a great ...  more »
  • A lovely oasis in the middle of Virginia. Definitely worth a stop. Mini Takes the States had a stop here and they accommodated Manu hundreds of cars and many thousands of people within the span of a few hours. Well-run location and their liquors are top-shelf.
  • A small craft distillery that has a charming appeal. The tour is quick and personal with all questions answered in a knowledgeable fashion. The store and buildings are quaint and fun to browse. This is where Tim Smith of moonshiners tv fame has his Climax moonshine made. Very enjoyable and the products are all available for tasting at a $10.00 fee.
  • My friends and I did not plan on going to Belmont Farm Distillery, but since we were in the area, we decided to stop by. If you're from the city, you'll appreciate the farm's Southern charm. It's a small facilities, but the man who owns it (Chuck) is awesome. He is hilarious and loves his distillery. In fact, he was on the show Moonshiners....twice! The whiskey is not bad. $5 will get you a tasting of three of their drinks. I loved their apple pie whiskey since I love sweet drinks. The only recommendation is to serve food here. We wanted to do our tasting while munching on some good food.
  • Great place to slide thrugh.... Made a Delivery and picked up some lightning, extremely happy!
  • Tim Smith shine is the best shine I've had legally or illegally.
