  • We've seen Belmont Distillery on the TV show MOONSHINERS and since we were in the area a visit was in order. We stopped in on a weekday afternoon and got the full tour and tasting. The folks there wer...  more »
  • We enjoy coming to Belmont Farms. The staff is very nice, they always have new mixes of their drinks, and the atmosphere is really relaxing.
  • I'm not a wine drinker, so the many wineries in the area were not a draw for me, but Belmont Farms sounded like a winner, and it definitely was! Getting to see the cookers, stills, and barrels of vari...  more »

  • A lovely oasis in the middle of Virginia. Definitely worth a stop. Mini Takes the States had a stop here and they accommodated Manu hundreds of cars and many thousands of people within the span of a few hours. Well-run location and their liquors are top-shelf.
  • A small craft distillery that has a charming appeal. The tour is quick and personal with all questions answered in a knowledgeable fashion. The store and buildings are quaint and fun to browse. This is where Tim Smith of moonshiners tv fame has his Climax moonshine made. Very enjoyable and the products are all available for tasting at a $10.00 fee.
  • Great place to slide thrugh.... Made a Delivery and picked up some lightning, extremely happy!
  • My friends and I did not plan on going to Belmont Farm Distillery, but since we were in the area, we decided to stop by. If you're from the city, you'll appreciate the farm's Southern charm. It's a small facilities, but the man who owns it (Chuck) is awesome. He is hilarious and loves his distillery. In fact, he was on the show Moonshiners....twice! The whiskey is not bad. $5 will get you a tasting of three of their drinks. I loved their apple pie whiskey since I love sweet drinks. The only recommendation is to serve food here. We wanted to do our tasting while munching on some good food.
  • Great service, great atmosphere, and great (tasting) products.
