  • Visited while out and about hiking on vacation. We were happy the dogs are welcome to walk around (on leash,) but this place seems like it needs revamped. Pretty day, interesting to look at, but much ...  more »
  • This is a beautiful and fascinating stop. There are indian mounds here and history explained. The views here are also amazing!
  • Not a lot to see but it was a beautiful day to walk around outside. We enjoyed the river view from the raised temple. We even saw the nose of a manatee and watched it swim across the river.

  • We (Spiritlight Ministry) have been going here for many years. The peace and beauty is beyound discription. Go to this place to find peace of mind, unwind from the outside world. but take bug spray in the bug months. LOL. ..Rev. One Eage
  • Full moon tours are a lot of fun. The area is usually clean and very easy to walk and experience. Nice spot that tries to capture the history of Native Americans in this part of Florida. Also has an observation platform that overlooks the Crystal River. In need to some renovation, but definitely worth the stop if you're interested in Indian culture or Florida's history.
  • Very cool place....There's not a ton of things to see here so you probably won't be spending a lot of time here but if you go on top of the Temple Mound you will get a great view of Crystal River
  • Very nice location for nonmotorized boat launch. Small, nice museum with good meeting space we use often.
  • Absolutely beautiful and such a cool place to learn about nature and the Indians. Great family place.
