  • The grounds here are very quiet, which made this quite a peaceful walk. The guide was very helpful and friendly. I would recommend this to anyone who appreciates ancient history and artifacts.  more »

  • We liked it. To be fair, we went only a few minutes before the museum closed and we didn't get a tour or we might have liked it more. What we did see of the museum was nice and the largest mound provides a pretty cool view of the river. Please don't expect the mounds to be more than what they are though: just big mounds of dirt covered by grass. Still though, I'd recommend it.
  • Greeter was very friendly and very knowledgeable. She gave us a nice welcome and a detailed explanation of the history of the site. A nice place to walk around with a great view of the Crystal River. A part of Florida and Florida history that most people aren't aware of and all for only $3.00 a carload.
  • Old Florida as it should be. Preserved for perpetuity with excellent human care. We saw an alligator in the first five minutes. Learned about wild pigs, the history of the area and what was being done to preserve the native ecosystem. Went at low tide as it is under water twice a day.
  • Beautiful park! Museum staff were very friendly and welcoming. Lots of bugs though--the biting kind!
  • Indian ruins. They offer a full moon guided walk once a month which is not only informative but very lovely
