  • Nice park and museum to meander around in. Shell mounds and lots of history. Very nice way to learn about Old Florida. Not touristy.
  • There were several glass cabinets with interesting artifacts and descriptions as to where they were found, how old they were, etc. There was also a nice video screening with lots of architectural info...  more »
  • This park is nice for a shady walk and a picnic with a great view. We loved the view at the top of the burial mound. It had shade, breezy, and a beautiful view of the river and the surrounding area. A...  more »

  • We (Spiritlight Ministry) have been going here for many years. The peace and beauty is beyound discription. Go to this place to find peace of mind, unwind from the outside world. but take bug spray in the bug months. LOL. ..Rev. One Eage
  • Full moon tours are a lot of fun. The area is usually clean and very easy to walk and experience. Nice spot that tries to capture the history of Native Americans in this part of Florida. Also has an observation platform that overlooks the Crystal River. In need to some renovation, but definitely worth the stop if you're interested in Indian culture or Florida's history.
  • Very cool place....There's not a ton of things to see here so you probably won't be spending a lot of time here but if you go on top of the Temple Mound you will get a great view of Crystal River
  • Very nice location for nonmotorized boat launch. Small, nice museum with good meeting space we use often.
  • Absolutely beautiful and such a cool place to learn about nature and the Indians. Great family place.
