  • Hands down our favorite on the Monticello trail/ Charlottesville and surrounding area. Much more enjoyable than the large corporate vineyards like Pippin Hill, Kings, Trump, etc and the wine is aaaama...  more »
  • Just had a interesting but not so encouraging experience at Stinson. Here's how I would characterize the experience: the wine is good depending on the varietal...Sauvignon Blanc is wonderful, Chardonn...  more »
  • We stopped here on our wine weekend away. The wines were good. A quaint tasting room that is dog friendly. Saw my first wine fermenting egg! Definitely worth a stop.  more »

  • Had an amazing time and the wines are very nice. Recommend the it all.
  • The tasting room is small but the gorgeous views and delicious wine more than compensate. Lots of outdoor seating. I've never had a wine I didn't like there, but in particular I love the Petit Manseng and the Imperialis. This is a must-stop location for us every time we travel to the area. The wine club is nice, too, and free (20% off your order and two free glasses of wine).
  • Awesome wine!! Best in VA. Would love to keep this gem a secret but they are too awesome not to brag about! Owner is fun and on site. Great place, go visit! You won't be sorry. We are now club members too, after our first visit. Love, love, love.
  • This is a small family run vineyard that has a nice range of red and whites. The tasting fee is $5 and you taste 7 different wines. But often they will let you taste more if you ask nicely. Their port was very nice not too sweet and very drinkable. There is plenty of parking and their patio has plenty of space to sit and enjoy a glass of wine.
  • One of our favorite small wineries. A very intimate setting. The wines are very unique, especially the cabernet Blanc which is fermented in a concrete "egg" in the style of the Romans. Their best by far though is their "Imperialis" port. Truly superb.
