  • The Starr Hill is small and friendly and their beers. We went to flight and no regrets to prove all beers of the House. All excellent. Must visit for those looking for the visiting tour to breweries in the region of Charlottesville. Alias, Crozet is a charm. Note 10.

  • While on a winery tour, we changed things up to stop at a brewery. Quite a selection of beers for every taste. I was particularly taken with the maple and expresso beers and it was decided they would ...  more »

  • Stopped by Starr Hill on our way back home to find a great atmosphere and lovely decor. The line was a bit long, but it gave me time to peruse the offerings posted. When I arrived at the counter, both the beer I was interested in, as well as my favorite (and thereby second choice) were both out; one gone and the other had a problem with the keg. The bartender was very gracious about it though, and I got to try something different because of it. The food truck outside had a snack for my wife as well, and the outdoor patio was very nice. If we find ourselves back in the area we'll be sure to stop back in!
  • Great staff. The crew at Starr Hill were willing to change around their schedule to accommodate my friends and me for their beer class. Also, their beers are delicious.
  • Service was bad/odd, the actual bar is small (but decent setting), music they had on was oddly slow and awkward. Beer is decent but hit or miss. Making the drive from CVille is not worth the effort.
  • Wonderful beer and staff! My fiancé and I stopped in here while on a camping trip. We have always been fans of the beer, so it was a real treat to be able to visit in person and to sample the other craft brews not sold in stores. We were pleasantly surprised that they let us bring our dog in! She had a blast from all of the attention and walked out with a new bandanna. I definitely recommend a visit to any beer enthusiast.
  • If the only beer left in the world for eternity was Starr Hill's bourbon barrel stout, I would be at peace with this. Great beers, beautiful atmosphere, and very charismatic staff giving the tours.
