  • It was really neat to find a place in a travel guide and then go to it. The ducks were really friendly and would eat things right out of your hand great way to spend the day with the kids getting in touch with nature.
  • We love this place. Yes the cabins are rustic... they are described as rustic, so if youre expecting a 4star hotel of course you will be disappointed. But while old they are clean and I personally love the history of these cabins. The buffet is nice, and the staff are wonderful. The food is decent canned veggies and powered potatoes but the salad bar was fresh. The trails are very nice, I hope to make it up for the trail run in May. We will ve back.
  • Well marked trails. Trails are maintained very nice & great for pets also. Plenty of parking also
  • We camped in early spring when the trees had not yet leaved. But I'm guessing that the place is wonderful during the summer and fall. Also, great free Wi-Fi.
  • We will visit this park again - hopefully not in the pouring rain. We hiked 2 miles of the main trail and had to take the suspension bridge back to our car instead of continuing the next 3 miles. It is gorgeous; just not during a downpour. We would consider camping here next time but have hear less than stellar things about their cabins.
