  • Love this campground. Very well maintained and gorgeous views from the sites on the canal. You can rent kayaks for 10.00 and hour or 50.00 for the whole day. Did this last time. Can get a bit buggy de...  read more »
  • Perfect area to kayak. If it's windy it can be challenging. There are beaches you can kayak to for breaks. The bathrooms at the park were clean and had showers.
  • Went fishing, crabbing from the pier. My neice went swimming on the small beach. Beautifull sunsets.
  • My family loves this place! We just got back form our third consecutive camping vacation at Jane's Island State Park. We usually arrive on a Wednesday and stay through the weekend. We practically have the camp to ourselves on Wednesday and Thursday. The weekend brings more campers but never crowded. We always enjoy the canoe ride to the beach on Jane's Island - the beach is isolated and pristine. The water is warm and clear. Absolutely beautiful! Crabbing at the camp ground is fun but does not yield many legal size crabs. If you are a serious crabber their are a number of good spots not too far away - just ask a local. We go a little out of the way and crab off off the Rumbley pier - awesome crabbing. Many legal size crabs. We always spend one day going to either Ocean City or Assateague Island. Both are only an hour drive. Jane's Island State Park is the perfect combination of camping in the woods, staying at the beach, and good fishing and crabbing.
  • A nice state park to rent a cabin and enjoy a day kayaking. The beach on Janes Island is superb and unspoiled. The kayak ride to get there was less appealing. Bring bug spray. Mostly marshland with woods only along the canal. Tough to fight the wind and tides after a while. All in all, a nice park, especially to stay at if planning to take one of the tours out of Crisfield.
  • 13 years in a row, and will never stop coming here. Such a great place to relax. Our stay gets longer every year!!
  • Love. Quiet, peaceful retreat for boating, crabbing, kayaking, fishing, and camping. We go every year.
  • Loved staying in the cabins - clean, comfortable, and cozy. And the park is a great place to just relax if you're looking to slow down for a few days.
