  • Clean and fancy for Cripple Creek. Looks like a small Vegas casino. Didn't win but didn't try very hard. 
  • Had some fun playing the slot machines. I liked the double diamond. I won pretty consistently, but my husband did not. Cash out was easy. 
  • The casino has lots of 1 cent, 25 cent and up machines. A great visit to learn how to play the slots.

  • Comfortable, beds were decent. Wanted mini fridge in room. Dinner buffet was Excellent but breakfast was cold and just fair. For the rate of the room we were happy.
  • Went to grab breakfast here because our go to home cafe was busy. We were quoted 45 min wait. I laughed at the lady and looked past her at the 9 open 4 tops and said what about all those. She said spoken for. Then an elderly couplr came up told her 2 and were seated right in front of us. When i said well thats slick to the lady working who was a manager worst of call.. All she said was oops. I wont even gamble at this casino after that incident. Again this is another racist establishment in this very white mountain town... Stay away unless your elderly i spose.
  • Tonight my husband and I decided to go have some fun at the Double Eagle hotel & Casino. It was his 1st time there. We played the slots which was lots of fun (that's why I gave 1 star). When we decided to try something new. We played at the rollet table. We explained to the dealer that we were new to this. the gentlemen next to us was kind enough to teach us, while the dealer rolled his eyes. The whole time we were playing the dealer kept saying, "THIS IS SO BOARING!" and he kept acting like we were wasting his time. We tried our best to ignore him. While spending our money there. We were never offered any complementary drinks and we never even saw any server on the floor. We planned to stay long, but due to our unforgettable experience we decided to leave and just go back to Colorado Springs.
  • Nice casino but, a few things made a negative impact. First of all, front desk staff aren't properly trained. Asked the lady who checked us in a few questions and her response every time was, "I don't know..." She didn't offer a way to find the answers, didn't ask any of the other staff. Got stopped by multiple staff asking for ID, and once they check they are supposed to give you a stamp or wristband, but didn't happen so was continuously interrupted. Biggest, most disgusting, and major health violation . . . the Parrot Cafe. When I approached the counter to order, the guy (heavier set young guy) came in from outside smoking when he saw me, took my order when I noticed his hands were covered in black like he was working on an engine. Dude didn't wash his hands, didn't put on gloves, and was placing the food I ordered on the grill with his bare hands. When he noticed I was watching him he said, "There is a number on your ticket, I can call you when it's ready." I continued to watch, didn't say anything, pretended to be playing on my phone while I recorded the whole thing as he slowly progressed to put gloves on. I took the food to the main front desk, asked for a manager, before the manager arrived I explained to the girl at the front desk what happened and she agreed that is he was completely in the wrong and was disgusting. She showed concern and shared interest in my disappointment. However, when the manager came his attitude and responses were short and didn't show any concern, and mainly a "oh well, whatever" attitude. Manager I spoke with in the morning apologized for the experience and helped improve the situation and thank her for turning around the view of the previous manager. At the moment, not sure if we'll come back again.
  • Its great place to gamble haha.. All the machines are fun to play til its sucks you in but over all I was very satisfied with the service and the staff of the establishment.
