  • My daughter and I took granny here in 2012, The little aquarium tour is very cool. I demonstrated the numbing factors of a sea anemone by licking it. My daughter and mom were quite amused.
  • My girlfriend and I were on a road/coast trip and stopped in crescent city for the night. We did the tour which was great. Brad did an excellent job as our guide. He was very patient with the guests t...  read more »
  • A touch pool. A seal show. This place was so much cooler than I expected for its size and location. It's a "don't miss it" for Crescent City.
  • For the size, there is quite a bit to see. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the animals put on a great show; especially the seals and sea lions. I submitted upwards of 50 plus pics of just our encounter with the sea lions. An add on bonus is petting the sharks, kiddo had a blast with the shark tank.
  • When we went in, I was a little concerned. We bought the tickets and then we're told we needed to wait 15 minutes for the next tour. Meanwhile, we waited in the large gift store. The store had a lot of touristy junk, and some clothes. They then called us for the tour. We lucked out, and we were the only ones on the tour. There was a new guide who took us to a little artificial tide pool, and encouraged us to touch the sea anemones and the skate. Then we went to see the fish. They put a ship on the ground and put a aquarium around it. We went inside the ship and downstairs to look out the windows into the aquarium. The guide did a great job of explaining about the different species. Then we went back upstairs to pet the tiger sharks. Last stop was a cute seal and sea lions show. They have rescued the animals and taught them some tricks. The trainer did a great job, and so did the seals! Overall, it was worth the trip. Recommended stop if you are in the area.
  • Great place to visit for a couple of hours, very educational and exciting. Staff seemed to enjoy their job and the animals looked very well taken care of. I think the only ocean type place that's more in depth would be sea world, but not everyone can make it down that far. RD
  • Typical tacky tourist attraction, but we all enjoyed it and hey, it's cheaper than a movie! The seal and sea lion show was fun and my kids loved petting the sharks.
  • I had a blast, the store had some neat things to look at while you are waiting to take the tour. On the tour you got to pet small sharks and other tide pool animals. They also put on a seal and sea lion show for everyone. The guide was very knowledgeable about all the sea life and was able to answer all of our questions. This is great for little kids and adults alike.
