  • This is a very nicely setup state park. The sites have water and electric -- there is a dump station. The sites are long (some up to 90'), wide and spacious. Grass and lots of trees, but the trees are...  more »

  • This park had so much to do that we did not have time to do it all in the two days we were there. The campground was beautiful and so well maintained! There was a very safe, family feel to the park. W...  more »

  • Very nice area to climb and swim. The water is nicer before the dam. "Camp Host" situation was unusual, but overall had a very enjoyable time.
  • Great open and roomy camp sites. Well maintained shower and toilet facilities. You can purchase firewood for 5 dollars a bundle. Well patrolled by staff.
  • Stayed in our travel trailer there. Nice campfire pits. Helpful staff. Pretty place. Lake is beautiful. Clean bathroom's & showers. Crowded on holidays.
  • This is one of the best non -wilderness areas I have ever camped in. The camping spots are large and grass covered. Even the tent spots come with water spigots, fire ring, pedastal style bbq and a picinic table. The bathrooms were always clean and well stocked including the lovely showers which provided hot water and pressure. The Rangers and camp hosts were both active and polite. They made staying here on a holiday weekend a delight. Lots of extra parking and very close to the marina and swim beach on the rogue. This campsite is great for children with several playgrounds and fields and bike paths.
  • Beautiful camp spot. Nice bathrooms and the trail by the lake was beautiful.

Where to stay in Crater Lake National Park

Crater Lake National Park operates two campgrounds inside of the park: Mazama Campground, which offers reservations, and Lost Creek Campground, which functions on a first-come, first-served basis. The park also offers accommodations in Crater Lake Lodge and Mazama Village Cabins, with the former open from mid-May through mid-October and the latter open from late May until early October. The park's isolated location limits accommodation options outside its boundaries, but you can find a few campgrounds, inns, and bed and breakfasts in the surrounding communities. Some of these are clustered in the town of Fort Klamath, just south of the park's entrance.
