I walk the "loop" about once a week. The loop in and around the park is clearly outlined via a paved path. It can get pretty crowded during the Summer on warm days, but most people are respectful. You... read more »
Nice park for walking & relaxing. Flat trails, restrooms, playground. Nice not to see the hordes of Canadian geese, lake looks clean, spotted turtles in lake
Nomahegan Park is a very doable 2 miles around via the walking / bike path (hey I want to love you all, so please stay to the right). The best adjective to use is one I find synonymous with Cranford a... read more »
I used to come here all the time when I was younger. This is a great park to come take a walk around the pond or even scroll through their walking/running trails.
Beautiful park, well maintained and is always lively with people. Plus it has multiple pokestops and a gym.
A nice park to walk around. There are 2 small lakes with fountains and nice scenery. There's a nice kids playing area.
I moved to this area in 2006 and this park is getting worse and worse with inconsiderate people. When going over the bridge, people have to walk and be courteous of others; this is rarely the case. That FAD of running with strollers has to stop. Today a guy was running with his baby in a stroller over the bridge where the sign says you must walk your bikes (and anyone with half a brain would understand that means for everyone to be careful). Anyway, I'm walking my bike, as I'm supposed to and the jerk is running towards me with his stroller and almost rams into me. I said to him, "You're supposed to walk over the bridge." His answer, "Well get out of my way!" NASTY IDIOT!!!! I wonder if his wife knows he is that disrespectful to women?! And not for nothing, had I been a heavier person and he would have hit me, the impact would send that kid flying out of the stroller -- and maybe into the water, who knows?! THIS is how a father treats his child?! That man should be arrested for not taking care of his child properly. DYFS should know about that loser! And shame on Cranford for not having more security in this park. The park should be enjoyed by everyone, not just those with the attitude of "Get out of my way, here I come!"
Great place! Very nice park. Great bike trails
