  • I love the Cowan Railroad Museum. It is a static museum. Was a wide and varied collection of artifacts. The volunteers are very knowledgeable and helpful. The children will love the model railroad layout. And the steam locomotive.
  • My 4 year old daughter loves it! It's small but you can spend a while there.
  • Historical. Can climb on engine and cars.
  • Neat place to visit, they enjoy answering your questions, have many old photos, tools, railroad memorabilia, and several model railroad layouts. Although it is a work in progress, there is still plenty to see. Based on what I saw and their plans for it; if it were completed I'd have given it 5 stars. Even so, it is worth a visit now. H.C., Va.
