  • Its actually a nice little area. The real treat is the coastal part. You have these cool little bunkers to go in and see. There are the concrete embankments still. Its kind of cool. I enjoyed the view of the sound the most. I enjoyed this place. ITs pretty peaceful. If you have a discover pass you are good if not pay the $10. The good thing about the $10 you can use it at deception pass if you visit the same day.
  • Good for hikes or mountain biking. The view is amazing
  • What a beautiful place. Not a huge campground, so book early or check back for cancellations. Don't miss the scenic trail along the bluff and the beach area just down the road.
  • One of Whidbey Island hidden gem parks. The approach down Hill Rd has some of the best views on the Island. The beach is super at low tide and sunsets always offer something unique.
  • This stellar, beautiful park is perfect for taking short, relaxing hikes. There are some amazing views to be taken in here, parking is easy, and getting to the park is very simple. Keep your eyes open - you'll often seen Bald Eagles flying above! Pro tip - the weather can change fairly quickly at this park (and on Whidbey), so if you're visiting, be sure to check the weather before hiking!
